AMVs

This video was made in June of 2009. This is the first AMV I have made in a long time. I used the song "Stand My Ground" by the group Within Temptation. Youtube won't let me upload the video there cause of the copyright of the song. The anime I used was WitchBlade. It is not the same as the american comic book WitchBlade (which was later a live action TV Show). This series is completely different in all ways. I mainly did this video to get familiar again with Premiere. I am wanting to get back into doing more AMVs and this was just to get use to how to do it.

This is a short one but still good. The anime series is Elfen Lied. The music is a song from the movie soundtrack for "The Last Samurai". This has had mixed opinions. It starts off kinda slow but that is the point. It is suppose to start off calm and nice. That is why when the harder music starts as well as the harder clips it should act as a contrast to the beginning. I through this one together fairly quickly cause I was just having fun one day. I had it uploaded on AnimeMusicVideos.org but it was removed within a couple hours due to graphic violence.

This video was created a couple years ago using the series Maburaho. The song choice was Elvis's "Devil in Disguise". I thought it appropriate for the series since all the female characters in the series look so sweet yet are so evil to the main character. This video was a quick throw together that only took a single day to do unlike some of the other videos which sometimes took multiple days to put together. This was posted on AnimeMusicVideos.org and got a pretty decent rating from people.

This video was created before the Maburaho one. This was created with the assistance of my friend SlicerX. The anime was the Ah! My Goddess movie. The music was the opening music from the video game Final Fantasy VIII. We thought the opening music was great and thought it would be good for an AMV. We labored on this for several days trying to tweek things right. When you have someone helping you with a video sometimes lots of time is wasted arguing how to do things. This was definately the case. This was posted on AnimeMusicVideos.org and got a pretty decent rating from people.

This video was made by my friend Clint. I assisted with some aspects of it since it was his first video. The anime used was Full Metal Panic. The song is Powerman 5000's "Bombshell". The series actually has lots of comedy to it but this video mainly showcases some of the action. He has thought of redoing the video using DVD rips so it will be higher quality. This was done with fan subs.

This video was created by my friend SlicerX. He chose to use the anime movie Escaflowne. The song is Alkaline Trio's "We've had Enough". He was not as familiar with Adobe Premiere as me at the time so had some issues with the video. This is an early video work so the encoding, editing, etc could have been better. I think over all the video turned out very nice. I am sure this is one he wouldn't mind redoing sometime. He Just rarely has time.

This video was the first calaboration between me and SlicerX. The series is Steel Angel Kurumi. The music is No Doubt's "Just a Girl". If you have not seen this anime series I highly recommend it. I even recommend it in english which is uncommon. I think ADV did a great job on the dubbing. This video is probably going to get remade. We did not do a very good job at the time encoding the files off the DVD to make this video. If we can find time to work on it we will. We know a lot more now and think we can do a much better job.

This was the second video I ever made. I used a bunch of fan subs I had on my computer at the time to create the video. I mainly created it as a way to learn Adobe Premiere better. The video turned out ok but I am sure it could have been better. The song is the Vapor's "Turning Japanese". I know this song has been done a lot to make music videos but it worked at the time well since it was for a variety of series and not just one. I don't think I am turning Japanese cause I am too tall. Hope you like the video.

This video was made by an internet friend of mine who goes by the name A-Chan. It uses the anime Excel Saga. It apparently is her first video which seems suprising cause I think it is done really really well. She has it on YouTube.com and on AnimeMusicVideos.org. Check this video out because it is really good.

Videos not made by Me or my friends but are fun to watch.
